Omer Bahtagic took over from the previous owners of Food For All Seasons in June 2004 and has continued the theme of providing a choice of gourmet, freshly prepared food for all tastes and all weather. With light dishes like foccacias with brie and pickled ginger, flavoured pies including beef and burgundy and Thai curried chicken, or for winter days hearty baked potatoes and soups, Food For All Seasons lives up to its reputation. People come from far and wide, especially for their homemade scones and cakes. There is indoor and outdoor courtyard dining and an open fire place to warm you in winter. Omer has introduced live music on Sundays featuring easy listening and jazz and sells paintings by local artists off the wall. Ask him about hiring the venue for private licensed functions in the evening — it is perfect for small intimate gatherings. Serving Beraldo coffee with a range of T2 teas, it’s the perfect place to relax with a wholesome meal or indulge in the homemade cakes on a day trip to Warrandyte or on you way through to the Yarra Valley along the scenic route that begins in Williamstown.
