Thyme on the Terrace is a cosy little gem tucked away on the main street of Warrandyte. Bill and his friendly staff, led by Kia, serve breakfast, lunch or dinner in their fully licensed restaurant, where you can eat inside or outside on the terraced balcony (hence the name). The menu covers a range of styles and flavours from Italian and Thai recipes through to steak and seafood. Thyme on the Terrace caters for special dietary needs, including coeliacs and vegans and take bookings for engagements, weddings and private functions.
In winter they have the open log fire going while you enjoy freshly prepared fare using local produce. With dishes like couscous, fetta and spinach filo pie or Thai salmon patties for lunch or mouth–watering seared champagne scallops or pumpkin risotto for dinner, the food and the atmosphere keep people from all over Melbourne and indeed the world coming back. Come and partake in their daily specials or feast on their succulent seafood and steak accompanied by local Victorian wines from the Yarra Valley, Mornington, Strathbogie Ranges and Bendigo regions.
Thyme on the Terrace is the perfect place to stop and rest with a coffee and light snack during the day or something more fancy for dinner.
Thyme on the Terrace accepts all cards except American Express, bookings are not essential but certainly advisable, especially on weekends.
